CricketGem runs private fantasy cricket leagues for groups of friends and colleagues. A league fills its squads once, with a live auction or a snake draft, and CricketGem then scores every match and keeps a live leaderboard, team breakdowns and player stats, so everyone always knows who's ahead and why. It started as the score tracker for one friends' league, the Rollick Fantasy League, whose organiser was tired of updating spreadsheets the morning after every match. There are no payments, prizes or wagering.
Each scorecard row becomes a per-player performance. Points are awarded for runs (with bonuses for boundaries, sixes, and milestones), wickets (with bonuses for hauls), dot balls, maidens, catches, stumpings, and run-outs. Strike rate and economy rate contribute bonuses or penalties once a minimum balls-faced / overs-bowled threshold is met, so cameo scores don't accidentally trigger bonuses. The Player of the Match gets a flat bonus.
All rules live in a single config object, rendered publicly at /scoring-rules so the league's rule set is never a mystery.
This site exists for a specific group of friends running their own IPL fantasy leagues. It is not a betting or gambling product: there are no cash prizes, no wagers, no entry fees, and no transactions anywhere on the site. Standings are for bragging rights only. See the terms for more.
